The Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. (Dr.) Babatunde Oyetola Diya, on Friday, July 25, 2025, joined the people of Odo Jobore Kingdom to celebrate the 1st Coronation Anniversary and Thanksgiving Service of His Royal Majesty, Oba Olufemi Sunday Olalekan Ogunbanjo (Sapenuwa I), the Kobowore of Odo Jobore.
The event, held at St. Michael Anglican Church, Odo Jobore, brought together royal fathers, political leaders, religious figures, and well-wishers in a colorful celebration of purposeful leadership and progress.
As part of the celebration, Hon. Diya laid the foundation for two major community projects — a modern healthcare centre and a police post — promising that both will be completed to high standards. These projects, he said, align with the I.S.E.Y.A. development agenda of Governor Dapo Abiodun and symbolize the collaboration between government and traditional institutions.
“Kabiyesi has shown admirable leadership in just one year on the throne. This foundation is not just physical but a testament to peace, unity, and progress,” Diya said.
The event was graced by prominent royal fathers from Ijebuland including the Orimolusi of Ijebu Igbo, Ajalorun of Ijebu Ife, Ebumawe of Ago Iwoye, Eleruwon of Eriwon, Ogirimadagbo of Ilodo, and others.
Hon. Diya attended with a strong delegation of local government officials, legislative leaders, advisers, and party stakeholders — all reaffirming their commitment to grassroots development and support for the people of Odo Jobore Kingdom.
