Onirolu of Irolu-Remo, Oba Adeilo Adeyiga, Calls for Greater Support Ahead of 2025 Agaun Day
The Onirolu of Irolu-Remo, His Royal Highness Oba Adeilo Adeyiga, has urged sons and daughters of Irolu-Remo to intensify their efforts towards the successful celebration of the 2025 Agaun Day.
The octogenarian monarch made this appeal during a press chat with Remo Voice Global correspondents at his palace in Irolu-Remo, where he expressed excitement over the completion of a new palace. The edifice, which is set to be commissioned during the Agaun Day celebration, was generously donated by the Adole of Ife, Chief (Dr.) Kessington Adebukunola Adebutu.

Oba Adeyiga described the new palace as the fulfillment of a long-held dream, expressing gratitude to God for making it possible. He attributed his joy and fulfillment to his acceptance of fate and sincerity of purpose in serving his people.
Fondly admired by both young and old in Remoland, the Onirolu is widely regarded as a progressive monarch dedicated to peaceful coexistence and the advancement of Remoland.
He further encouraged indigenes of Irolu and Remoland, both at home and in the diaspora, to “always remember home” and continue making meaningful contributions toward human and community development.
