OmoOwo Emerges PDP Candidate for Ogun East Senate, Promises Inclusive Representation
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has elected Alhaji Abdulhameed Femi Omotayo, popularly known as OmoOwo, as its candidate for the Ogun East Senatorial District ahead of the forthcoming senatorial election.


OmoOwo emerged victorious during the party’s primary election held at Adeola Odutola Hall, Ijebu-Ode, securing the party’s ticket amid growing support from members and stakeholders across the district.
Speaking after his emergence, the PDP flagbearer expressed appreciation to party leaders, delegates, and supporters for the confidence reposed in him, describing his candidacy as a collective mission aimed at building a more inclusive and responsive Ogun East.


According to him, his campaign will focus on the principles of equity, justice, peace, and development, emphasizing that every community within the senatorial district deserves equal attention and representation.


Drawing from his experience in business and leadership, OmoOwo pledged to provide practical and people-centered representation, assuring constituents of accessible leadership and continuous grassroots engagement.


He also disclosed plans to establish technologically-driven constituency offices across Ogun East to enable residents communicate concerns and receive prompt feedback.


The PDP candidate further promised to run a peaceful and issue-based campaign centered on unity, youth inclusion, and sustainable development across the nine local government areas that make up Ogun East Senatorial District.


“This campaign will be driven by service, inclusion, and a genuine commitment to the people,” he stated.
