The grand finale of EMERGE 1.0, an innovative entrepreneurship development program, concluded on a high note at Ijebu Business School, where the top five winners received a total of ₦1,000,000 in funding.
Following an intensive eight-week training, fashion show, and pitching contest, participants from across Ogun State showcased their creativity and business acumen. The five outstanding winners were:
- Ayinke Atelier (Ijebu Ode) – ₦500,000
- Dolphin Pattern (Ijebu Igbo) – ₦300,000
- Vonky Fashion (Shagamu) – ₦100,000
- Dee Creative (Ago Iwoye) – ₦50,000
- Tifad Ventures (Ijebu Ode) – ₦50,000
The cheque presentation was a moment of celebration, recognizing the passion and innovation of these young entrepreneurs. Miss Ayokunle Maraiyesa, the convener of the event, expressed excitement for the next edition, revealing that EMERGE 2.0 is set to launch later this year, expanding its reach across Ogun State.
EMERGE, an initiative of the Ijebu Fashion Festival in collaboration with Ijebu Business School, is dedicated to empowering young business owners through entrepreneurship and innovation. Looking ahead, the festival aims to partner with key industries, foundations, distinguished sons and daughters of Ogun State, and the state government to amplify the impact of EMERGE.
