The 2024 Ijebu Youth Summit proved to be a remarkable event, significantly enhanced by the participation of esteemed dignitaries who contributed valuable insights and support.
Noteworthy among the attendees was Alhaja Sade Gazal, representing the First Lady of Ogun State and the wife of the former Ijebu Ode Local Government Chairman. Her involvement highlighted the importance of the summit and the administration’s commitment to youth empowerment.
Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, Ogun State Head of Service, was represented by Mr. Benson Lateef, Permanent Secretary for Ogun State Intergovernmental Affairs, who delivered a motivating keynote address. He praised the Ijebu youth for their influential role in recent national protests and encouraged them to pursue excellence and make their nation proud.
The Ijebu Ode Area Commander, ACP Edward Omosanyin, also attended and delivered a crucial message. He advised the youth to avoid cultism and focus on positive and constructive paths.
The participation of these distinguished guests greatly enriched the summit. Their support and dedication to the advancement of Ijebu youth were deeply valued, marking the event as a significant milestone in the community’s progress and commitment to excellence.
