Kabiyesi Alaiyeluwa Oba Michael Adekoya, the Alaye Aba of Aiyepe, on the 18th June 2025, paid a surprise visit to the Aiyepe 5-Day Market located at Ita Oba Square.
In a show of compassion and commitment to grassroots empowerment, His Royal Majesty personally distributed the sum of ₦5,000 each to all the market women present. The gesture was aimed at encouraging and supporting their businesses, as well as boosting local economic activity.
The monarch’s visit was warmly received by traders and residents, who expressed deep appreciation for the royal support. Oba Adekoya reaffirmed his dedication to the well-being and development of Aiyepe and its people.
