Many Nigerians often advocate prayers for Nigeria, which I used to oppose, that Nigeria as a country does not need prayers but for it’s citizens to doing good.
God had from the past answered the prayers of Nigeria (lati ìwáṣẹ̀). To explain this, Nigeria and Nigerians did not raise a battle or drop one blood for her Independence.
Is that not an answered prayer?
Nigeria was bequeathed with self rule and Republic by the Colonial masters without interference, another answered prayer.
Nigeria went into three years selfish tribal war which ended with “No victory, No vanquished” another answered prayer.
Looking into the length and breadth of the country, there are unquantified mineral resources for Nigeria to play with and increase the gifts of Almighty God to increase economically without asking and begin. Are these not answered prayers?
Nigeria is endowed with educational knowledge which if adequately utilised is an answered prayer.
Nigeria unlike the Babel which suffered from language separation, have beneficial advantages of languages unity in diversity and forging ahead as an entity. Another answered prayer.
What is now wrong with Nigeria that people continue to advocate prayers for Nigeria?
Privately and personally, I advocate extensive curses for those who are not up to 10% of the population of the country who are troubling God on our behalf which is making people to think God had not answered Nigeria prayers. Therefore asking prayers on Nigeria.
God having answered Nigeria prayers and given her all the needs and wants has gone to listen to those whose countries are worst off, without the necessities of life through no fault of theirs.
Prayers meant to be directed to Nigeria should be to oneself; ask God for whatever He should do for you and attendant curses to those who would not let you enjoy the goodies of deposits by God in Nigeria not to Nigeria whose prayers had been answered from creation.
The curses are not specifically on the leaders, rulers or those on helms of affairs, but those who does not want it well with you in the country. You do not need to mention names because when these sets of people hear, they know themselves and will restitute or get killed, erased depending on the demand from God.
After awhile, you will see God looking back to hear the supplications and answer, then Nigeria and Nigerians will start to enjoy good things of life.
Curses are not only by words of mouth, protest and otherwise but can be traditional institution methods, whatever you have to invoke God’s wrath and Psalms.
