Obanta Cup 2024 Announces Tournament Format and Key Dates Ijebu Ode, — The Obanta Cup 2024, a premier U-U20 football tournament, is set to commence with an engaging and competitive format. The event will feature 16 teams, organized into groups of 4, with each team playing 3 matches in the group stage.
From each group, the top 2 teams will advance to the quarter finals. The 3rd-placed teams will compete in the Best Loser knockout stage.
Key Dates to Remember:
- Payment and Registration Deadline: July 14th, 2024 (after which final team confirmations will be made)
- Launching/Draws/Media Conference
- Arrival Date: July 25th, 2024
- Kick-off Date: July 26th, 2024
- Closing Date: August 25th, 2024
Teams are required to make their payments to Hisight Promotions Ltd / Polaris Bank – 4091890259.
Each team is allowed 25 players and 5 officials for registration. Additional details and updates will be shared as the tournament approaches.
